Yes, I like photography ok?...

Yesterday I decided to play with the screen-saver on my computer, and this is what was created! It looks like I'm drawing in mid-air with my fingers - pretty cool...

This picture was also taken yesterday - while I was waiting for my bus home from school. Quite miraculously so, we've been having bright blue skies for the past couple of weeks. And this has made way for some picture-perfect scenes! 

I couldn't resist... The bright blue sky; the moon; the sun touching the tops of the trees... it was too beautiful!

... and this is what the town center looked like when I got there...

I don't know if the picture is clear enough, but the icy ground reflects some light.

Finally, these pictures were taken today on my way home from school.

This was taken as I was leaving school...

... these were taken while I was on the bus - as you can see in one of them. My camera decided to change its focus, so I got a clearer picture of the window than of what was going on behind it! I still think it's nice though... I'm starting to wonder if I find everything beautiful, lol...

Anyway, the sun is setting...

When I got home, the sun had almost completely set, but not quite - it left behind a beautiful twilight... 

Lighting

I've been out and about, enjoying myself, taking pictures of everything and anything I find captivating. I've realised that I'm particularly fascinated by light, and the way it can change any landscape, room or scene. Maybe you can see that for yourselves in the following pictures... 

Movement & Lighting

The following pictures were taken from the car window, so you can see some movement in some of them - or they might seem slightly blury. I think it gives a nice edge to them. 

  

this is the only one I tweeked a little to make more of a contrast between the yellow and blue.

So, as I said, I love the fact that I can now take pictures of anything beautiful I see, at any given time. These are some pictures I've taken recently. Thanks to the blue skies, I've had some perfect opportunities to capture some beautiful pictures.

Playing With Negative, Sepia, and Black and White Effects

I recently bought a new phone with a camera (welcome to the 21st century Ashley!!) that I absolutely adore! Now I can finaly take pictures whenever I want. The camera has so many settings on it, and I have yet to explore half of them. But like most other phones, it has some special effects on it. I know it's nothing ground-breaking, but it's amazing to see what kind of pictures you end up with. I'm particularly fond of the negative effect - maybe that's because I'm so backward...

Reflections

Here are some of my "reflection" pictures. I have to admit, I had little time to do this and I panicked, so I had to use my computer screen... but it's STILL a reflection, so there.
